‘Real Hero’ #Farhan Akhtar

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is watchable. It has a story to tell.

Some overdose of glam-sham could have been avoided. Stretches over 3 hours and that’s the only glitch, if one may call it so.

There are enough twists and turns in the movie which keeps you glued to screen. But of all super cinematic fundamentals I found the hero of this movie truely electrifying.

Farhan Akhtar has totally lived every bit of the role. At times you feel even real Milkha, of his time, would look subdued before this transformed superstar.

I read it took him more than a year to achieve it. No wonder that when he is shown working out on the field just before his run in Pakistan, audience turn awed…that’s all.

Some call themselves Dabangg, some show six pack, some board the Chennai Express and so on. Now it is enough of all that ‘Khan-dani’ business. People are running away from them.

They are sitting on the edge of their seat to cheer the one who has gone beyond the limits of his body and mind to become a Flying Star.

ROPM, thank you. Farhan, I have no words for you.
