Ice Bucket Challenge – Some Historical Facts

Archimedes never took the Ice Bucket Challenge (IBC). He challenged the water in bath tub instead.

Newton once took the IBC but did not nominate anybody. He lost all the fun after knowing that bucket full of water also falls down on one’s head instead of going up in the sky. He use to believe only apples fall down.

Ravana had announced an Ice Bucket Challenge Day in Lanka and had also declared a national holiday on that day. This was the day after Lanka was set on fire!

River Ganga had once challenged Lord Shiva for IBC. But he choose to play the game for ever by capturing her on his head.

Gabbar accepted Jai and Viru’s Ice Bucket Challange and decided to nominate Thakur but knowing that he would not be able pick-up the bucket, nominated him for the ‘rice (anaaj) bucket challenge’!

Shahrukh khan never took the IBC but the way he shivered while saying one of the dialogues of his movies, he was asked to nominate Salman. Salman reacted by donating an handsome amount to Being Human Foundation.

Katreena Kaif took the IBC but poured mangoes on her head instead of ice water. She nominated Alia Bhat who posted her video throwing ice cubes in a bucket shouting .. Yes I did it!

A group of engineering students nominated a group of MBAs for IBC. MBAs took the challenge and included it in ‘personal achievements’ section of their CV for final placements.

I am yet to take the IBC. If I do, I will nominate Lord Indraa to shower a heavy thunderstorm in Nagpur … that’s the way ‘he’ challenges all of us, isn’t it?
