From ‘Eye’ Witness to ‘I’ Witness

Ultimately we see what we want to see.

The picture is created in mind. It appears before us the way we frame it.

It all depends on the colour of glasses that we decide to wear before looking at the world around us.

Carry out an experiment today. Next time you meet a known person, go with a clean slate. Think of him as a stranger. Meet him for the first time, again.

You might end up being a different person all together. Reason – mind is clear, positive and more open than before. That glass we keep wearing all the time, becomes dusty and stained. We need to clean it.

Lofty and impractical as it may sound, this very practice makes winners different from losers. It’s worth a try.

Our beliefs about others are often framed with respect to our desire for appreciation of our values by others. When we don’t see that happening, we start formulating hypothesis about others.

All we do after formulating such hypothesis is that we keep searching for evidences to prove that it is almost impossible to reject it. “Look that’s what I was saying”, ” I knew it”, ” I had guessed it right” etc.

We shape the world around us. We create it, we nourish it.

Burst self-created paradigms. Experience that which very few get to experience. Witness the magic. Replace ‘Eye’ with ‘I’.
