Carry your own mirror

They will laugh at you,
Call you by names,
Say that you are ugly,
Mock you with little games…

They will shout at you with disgrace,
Will say you have not wit,
Make you feel like a loser,
Shatter you every bit…

Some will call you dark,
Some will call you sad,
Some will say you are hopeless,
While some may claim you are mad…

They will try to pull you down,
Even ask you to quit,
Misbehave, insult and scorn,
Tell you, you are not a fit…

Never listen to those voices,
those shallow words with guile,
You must put your foot forward,
Cherishing an unruffled smile…

That sky is your limit,
So jump off the cliff with faith,
You have strong wings of virtue,
Fill passion in every breath…

Tell them you have a splendid soul,
Tell them you have no fear,
You are not what others tell you,
You carry your own mirror!
