Aam, Aadmi and Nonsense!

Good, Better and Best….Man, Mango and Madness…

For an Aam Aadmi the most khaas delicacy during the summer season is Mango.

Mango pickle, mango shake, mango juice, mango sundaes, mango rice, mango this and mango that.

I am a Deewana-e-aam (and Deewana-e-Khaas too!)..This is a category that can have mangoes every single day during the season. Aam-taur-par I prefer eating mangoes just in their pure natural form – no frills!

Langda, Lal-baug, Badaam, Dasheri, Payeri and the best in class Hapus…whatever and whenever I get, I don’t miss the chance.

Here are some tit-bits on man-goes …

As per Greek mythology, the food of Greek gods is Ambrosia. But why is it called ambrosia (key ingredient is Aam!)?

Well, Aam-banis too have plans to start mango exports to increase their aam-danis!

It is said that Armstrong use to have aams-tang before he went to take that giant leap for mankind!

Ambidextrous refers to people who can eat two mangoes at a time.

Aam-chi Mumbai loves Aamba…true ambassadors of aam and aam aadmi…

Ambush marketing uses aam…as well as bush…in mar-ke-ting!

Excess of Aam might land you in Ambulance….as mango amplifies the risk of sugar imbalance….

Let’s put an end to this ambiguous amalgamated aberration. It’s out of Aam-aadmi’s ambit.

Mango mania some other time. Some other season with some place. Ambala near Alabama.
